Mono Prints

Monoprints are like variations on a theme. The theme results from permanent lines or textures on the template, in my case a piece of plastic acetate. Whilst the possible variations are endless, the permanent features of the template will persist from one print to the next. You will see below that I've been experimenting adding lifework with drypoint and tones and textures with carborundum gel. Note that, although this form of printing produces multiple prints, every one of them is unique. For this reason mono prints are usually numbered as 1 of 1.
