Etching & aquatint, 37.5cm x 29.8cm, Charbonell ink on Hahnemuhle paper
Number 5 in a limited edition of 20.
I was given the theme of 'pod' to work on as a project in my printmaking course. The long and intriguing shadows the early morning sun was casting on pea pods I'd laid out on a table immediately captured my attention and I set to work. The resulting image is somewhat ambiguous, hence the name.
This print won a commendation in the NSW Art student The Prize 2004 competition and has been shown in a group exhibition in seven regional galleries in NSW.
Image size: 37.5cm x 29.8cm. Paper size: 47cm x 38cm.
To ensure safe arrival, this print will be wrapped in tissue paper and shipped in a very sturdy tube.
Note: There is another limited edition of Ambiguity on BFK Rives paper but these are bleed prints i.e. the image goes all the way to the deckled edge of the paper.
