Catching those last rays

Some more experimentation with carborundum. I had an idea of where I was going with this but largely responded to how things were turning out as I went along. It's pretty cool that you can work the gel both before and after it dries, although there's a very different feel to each. I made the rays right at the end by simply scraping the surface with the side of a sharp etching tool. Don't know about you but I find the grittiness of the end result quite appealing.
